I've been shooting images for over 40 years.  I started with my first camera in my early teens and learned how to develop film and make prints.  I'd shoot anything from places to people to cars and motorcycles.  Through the years I have put my camera away when the demands of life have taken over, but I have always returned to my love of image making.

I've now finished up all the demands of life like family and career and can devote all the time I choose to my image making.  I have fully transitioned into the digital age and shoot digital raw format and edit my work with Adobe Photoshop to present a finished, professional image.

So, what's the difference between a GWC and a PHOTOGRAPHER?  That can be argued back and forth forever.....but I feel it has to do more with perspective, vision, and an eye for capturing a moment presented to the lens of the camera.  Anyone can push the button and shoot images......but a photographer sees the image before it is captured......has the vision in his mind......frames it within the camera lens and captures the moment for eternity.  The captured image has feeling and emotion and should leave the viewer with a reaction.  What happened at the moment the image was taken?

We all strive for that one "perfect" image that is in our mind and that is what drives us forward in our work.  I am now free to search for that "perfect" image and desire to work with others who are on the same quest.  That's why I'm here.....to connect, to network, and create some great images and perhaps in the process get my one "perfect" image.  My studio is the world around us and all the circumstances and situations that pass through our lives.
