About Me

I began my working life as an illustrator and Graphic Designer, both of which have had a strong influence on the way that I approach painting. A few years ago I stopped my commercial work in favour of pursuing my own artistic interests and re-discovered oil painting. I am fascinated by the human form and its infinite variety. In particular I find the beauty and strength of the female figure breathtaking in its rhythm and complexity. Capturing the essence of femininity is one of the driving themes in my work.
