Friends (48)About MeCecil Brissette was born much by accident in Cleveland, Ohio, but never really lived there. He was never really formally educated in photography either. He once took a class with his mommy, and another at what should have been his old high school. It wasn't his official old high school because he was a little liar and gave the school district the wrong address so he could attend the same Jr High school as his friends. Not to encourage people to lie, but that mistruth worked out in his favor, as what should have been his old high school turned out to be one of the most gang infested cesspools in the entire area. Not to discourage all those who live, work, and are educated in gang infested cesspools, but Cecil Brissette was meant to be elsewhere. Somewhere foreign, distant, potentially cruel, and filled with animals and stuff. Someplace where he gets to wear khaki, grow a beard, and stop bathing altogether.( A practice developed and perfected by C. Brissette called "blending", which involves a complete separation from all accepted standards of Western cleanliness) Someplace real. Where the food can make you shit, or at least make you think you're going to shit with every sudden movement. Now go and look at the images before this bio takes on the subject of his dead dog Henry, who died tragically in a freakishly bizarre swimming pool accident back in 1998. Henry is survived by his American Express card, a series of scholarships to local trade schools, and the occasional recruitment letter from more than one branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Sadly, though, but perhaps not surprisingly, Henry will be unable to take advantage of these great opportunities because he is still dead. His American Express account, however, is alive and well, and Henry's continued, and very generous contributions have made possible many of the fine images that you will see on this site. Or maybe they'll still suck, who's to say. Henry liked them though. Verified Credits (0)Worked with Cecil K Brissette? Share your experience and become verified! Add Credits
