I studied photography at school (back when film was the thing) but life took me other places and I ended up spending more time in front of cameras than behind them. I am now a graduate research student and I study subcultures and neo-burlesque performers.

As part of my research I will be taking photographs of performers and subcultural participants. I have finally upgraded to a DSLR and am now looking to up skill, grow my portfolio and get experiences working in digital. I love photographing people but I'm new to Melbourne so my list of willing subjects is a bit limited at the moment.

I would love to work with models or performers who also want to build their portfolios. I'm quite happy to do TFCD for classic head-shots and basic portfolio images, portraits and so on. I have a small studio set up (available from December 2012) but prefer location for most stuff.

Having done a bit of fetish and art modelling myself gives me a unique outlook. I am committed to making models look good and feel comfortable when working with me. I am a woman and I can usually use either a female or a male assistant depending on model's preference. I think a comfortable model is a confident model and that leads to better images. You can trust me to try and make you look good.

I would also be happy to consider helping out on other photographer's shoots as a second shooter or assistant. I have a good basic (canon) kit including OCF.
