About Me

I am a portraitist by temperament as much as by trade, having spent more than a decade behind the lens. Since beginning my practice in 2011, I have come to appreciate the quiet discipline required to create work that endures—work shaped not by spectacle, but by intention.

Born the only Canadian in a Hungarian family, I was raised with old European values: good manners, measured speech, and a respect for craftsmanship. These principles continue to guide me, informing both the way I see and the way I work. My creative world has always leaned toward the understated—images that whisper rather than shout, and elegance that requires no announcement.

In recent years, I have discovered a renewed devotion to film photography. There is a certain civility in the slower pace of analogue work—its patience, its imperfections, its insistence on presence. I now move fluidly between film and digital, allowing each medium to serve its purpose with dignity and restraint. On occasion, I also incorporate video, crafting motion pieces that carry the same sense of quiet poise as my still imagery.

My focus lies in beauty and fashion portraiture, where the principles of fine art meet the nuances of character. Whether working with new talent or familiar collaborators, I approach each session as a composed conversation—a shared effort to reveal confidence, elegance, and individuality.

My aesthetic draws from the refinement of European fashion photography and the timeless sensibilities of old-world ateliers. I favour craftsmanship over trend, clarity over excess, and subtlety above all. Though my work has found its way into international publications, I remain most devoted to the integrity of the process and the grace of a well-made image.

To sit before my lens—film, digital, or moving image—is to be met with intention and care. My portraits aim not merely to flatter, but to uncover something enduring: presence, poise, and a quiet, timeless sense of self.
