Hi, I'm Gabrielle. I'm a fantasy illustrator out of Lowell, starting out a bit late in life. My preferred medium is digital, but I am not a photo manipulator, I am a painter. I joined model mayhem for the very obvious reason - I need great models for reference for my art and photographers that present them beautifully.

When I say reference, I mean that I may change what the model looks like significantly, from facial features, to skin color, to clothing. I need models that are willing to accept those terms, because I create fantasy and sci fi and they can result in very strange creatures. Sometimes I may just be looking for a pose, while other times a fully presented scene from costume to atmospheric lighting.

This looks like a good professional community where I can get some questions answered - I have never formally contracted a model/photographer/stylist before: the work I have posted in my gallery so far was referenced from stock photos with restricted rights. I would like to create professional, commercial works in the future and I want to do it the proper way where everyone gets paid and credited appropriately.

If you're willing to work with me, I'm very easy going. I'm in the process of building my portfolio while doing my day job on the side - I'm a framer. My goal is to reach a point where my art is my paycheck, and I feel like model mayhem is the right direction.
