* Note: I am not a glamour/boudoir photographer. I am producing a body of artistic work around a concept, and I am only looking to work with people who are interested in being a part of it.*

I am a photographer based in Toronto, and I have been pursuing photography in a creative capacity for more than 15 years.

While I have experience in portraiture and fashion, my focus is on an ongoing creative project featuring emotionally expressive nudes in coloured light, which evoke themes of dread, doom, rage, and power dynamics. Ominous vibes. I try to limit interaction with the audience's gaze, focusing instead on emotive exploration and figure work.

I feel the expressiveness of faces is very important, and I love capturing each person's uniqueness in that way. With my photography and editing, I try to draw attention to a model's unique and natural features, without making their skin appear too smooth or generic.

Currently trying to limit myself to working only with models who express enthusiasm for my work, whether those models are experienced or inexperienced. Happy to trade with new models building their portfolio, but for my personal project I generally prefer to work with experienced professional art models, whom I am happy to pay for their time and experience. (And ideally, they also feel enthusiastically about my work).

"I have worked with Rab in both a group setting and at his home studio. He is wonderful to work with. He is quite versatile in skill, but clearly has a preference working with geled lighting. He is quite good at describing the emotions he's looking for - vaguely, to allow for creative interpretation and a genuine collaboration in creation. He is open to suggestions, and he captured and returned images of me far different than those I had received from thousands of other photos - even other photographers using gel lighting.
