Filmmaker Emily - Jane Curtain, is an exceptional student at Ravensbourne University studying Film production and will be entering her third and final year this September.
Emily’s passion for film making extends from working on university based projects to (outside of university) creative film projects thought of and produced from start to finish by Emily. On these projects Emily collaborates with creative’s individuals from actors – models, makeup artists – hairstylists, clothing designers – fashion stylists.
At the current Emily is looking to add to her digital portfolio and has set up a small project entitled ‘Period Monologues’. These period monologues will be one day shoots whereby selected actors/actresses will be acted out a screen play set in the following periods; 1920s, 1960s and 1980s. The screen play is setup in an interview style – so the actors/actresses will be of the period and will be interviewed about their lifestyle living in the specific era.
My name is Ivy Scarlett and I will be collaborating with Emily on these period monologues and will be the stylist for each set. I have contacted you specifically because I have seen a few pieces within your MM portfolio which I would like to use and style for the monologues.
Would you be interested in lending a few pieces from you line? If so, then could I please borrow the following items listed below:

Designer(s) will be credited within the film and designers will receive a link to where the film will be posted. Most importantly, this is an exciting and worthwhile opportunity to gain some/more exposure for your clothing brand.
As the stylist I meet the designer (you) or the designer’s assistant at an underground tube station nearest to where the designer is based. On arrival I briefly check that the garments are in good condition before taking the garments from the designer. Garments will be returned to the designer a week later in the same condition that they were given to me.
