Friends (38)About Me
Aerialist, dancer, singer-songwriter, musician, multi-media visual artist, writer, and art model based in Northern Arizona with experience art modeling since 2011 for photographers, sculptors (notably John Henry Waddell), and visual artists (notably painters Gretchen Lopez, Hai-Ou Hou, Krystal Brown, Tracey Frugoli), notably with one Runway walk for Vidogi Salon for Hair Wars at Talking Stick Resort as "The Sun", and one motion-capture dance/movement study for robotic arm development via ASU for NASA. Published in four photography books by Michel Sarda: “Flying Colors”, “Dancing Colors and Halos”, “Spirit of Form”, “Mind & Eye: The Paintings of John Henry Waddell”. Several Kudos (Verde Independent) magazine cover features and publications. Founder/Director of a professional aerial dance and movement company.
I am professional, hardworking, respectful, and positive, and I strive for creativity and artistry. I can provide references from other photographers and artists upon request. At this time, I am happy to do select TF portfolio projects and enjoy collaboration. In some circumstances, I will also pay for work or request paid work, really depending on what the project and purpose is. I highly value creative time and energy. While I’m open-minded, I do not take on projects that feel inauthentic or uncomfortable. As a visual artist, I'm also a costume and prop designer. Primarily I design mermaid bras and headdresses. I would love to do, for example, projects involving fantasy themes like big flowing dresses while in a Lyra (aerial hoop), projects involving natural elements, and modern-vintage time-travel juxtaposition of Victorian clothing with modern tattoos. Notes before you contact me: You may have seen me on MM before (it is how I met many of the wonderful photographers I've worked with), but I've taken several online breaks. I am not on social media. My artist portfolio website is currently getting a redesign. As a professional and experienced aerialist since 2013, please note that safety and risk assessment for an aerial photoshoot are non-negotiable. I own a portable outdoor aerial rig and co-own a theatre. I will never rig aerial apparatuses from trees or other non-rated systems/structures. I'm happy to expand on this and share details about best practices if you have any questions and have a vision for an aerial photoshoot. Appearance: Please note that I am heavily tattooed and pierced (full arm/leg sleeves in color, neck tattoos, hand/foot tattoos - essentially a bodysuit in progress - 2 nose rings, Medusa lip piercing, ear piercings and 00 gauges, belly button - most of the piercings don't come out), I don't have many recent photos that showcase this but will try to upload current projects soon, and because of this I'm generally not a fit for commercial projects and that isn't my genre. I'm happily an aerialist and artist first. I have natural (undyed) long red curly hair at this time, some of my past photos are blonde, straightened, or short. My eyes are naturally grey/green/gold, but have been edited by some photographers to be blue. Please also note, respectfully, that I do NOT do nude or implied, burlesque, boudoir, lingerie, or anything in that realm and will not be convinced otherwise. No judgment toward others, that's just not within my own comfort zone or work I will do. I will likely not accept friend requests or respond to messages in those genres, thank you for your understanding. EDIT to add: while I don't consider any of my MM portfolio "NSFW", several images have been auto-marked and I have left them as such so my profile doesn't get deleted. If I’ve sent you a friend request, it means I admire and enjoy your work and hope to create with you one day. I will also send an introductory message, I try to be thoughtful and intentional. As I said above, I’m not on social media, so I don’t care about amassing “followers” or adding lots of online “friends” just for the sake of numbers. I don’t operate from that place; I make art because I loving making art and enjoy sharing it as an artist’s portfolio, and I don’t require external validation via “likes” for my work. Thank you for your consideration. Verified Credits (0)Worked with mariemarigold? Share your experience and become verified! Add CreditsCredit Notes
