My name is Michael Ray and in between directing films, commercials & music videos I shoot photography, mainly Instagram models who want to increase their following. I am originally from NYC and live in LA now. I work with celebs in my Hollywood world so it is very easy for me to set up a meeting with models so they can collab on a photo to increase followers. Making photos pop is my thing! I love working with professional models who love to collaborate and create a unique vision. I also love to mess around with what I call SIN CITY color scheme of black & white with colors popping out (usually red). I love the stories a photo can tell. I am a very big fan of the concept of 'implied narrative'. It is true what they say, every photo is worth a thousand words. I chose Model Mayhem since I was told it was the best place to show my work and find quality talent to work with. My goals are to meet and collaborate with new models, help them grow their network as well as mine, and most of all, make great art!
