July 11, 2010 6:26am The lighting on this shot is fine, I think maybe you need to build a better rapport with your models, get them to relax a bit. Try anything from playing music to getting them doing star jumps. I always start with the mirror game. Watch out for strong highlights in the picture and if possible tone them down such as the one to the left of her head and in the top left corner. Metallic objects such as necklaces can cause nasty light reflections so try bouncing the flash instead of it being straight on. Hope this helps. Darren, London.
