This looks like a Carpet python or Centralian carpet python, either from Oz. Outside chance it could be a Diamond python, one of my personal favorites! All those mentioned usually have great personalities, esp. if captive born/bred (CBB).
Looks a lot like my Jungle carpet/Diamond mix, but thicker in the middle and with a different, more regular pattern. You can't really pose a snake...it's like herding kittens. You have to have a wrangler to help set up the shot and suggest to the animal where to go because they usually have an appointment on the other side of the room. So the best poses happen when the model(s) and snake(s) click. I will say pythons are good to work with; they are much calmer than kingsnakes, for instance, and usually larger, which is good, as they show up well. This one is dark grey and sort of yellow/green which show well on the classic redhaired model. /..
