I've been super absent from this portfolio as life has taken me in varying directions, esp. since this imaage was shot [Summer of 2009]. Fred Haider, I should probably just say why yes it was shot at Ruby Ghost Town, in reality this was a candid shot by my man, as I was stepping out of our sleeping room, on a construction/remodel worksite on S. Cherry Avenue here in Tucson where we lived/worked at that time. Well, my man did most of the working and the living was more like surviving. Anyway, I'm thrilled to see that this image is one of the most appreciated of all my images. It's a very special image and is even now the basis of an oil painting also done by my man who no longer does construction work but is still a fabulous oil painter.
