the pose itself is very focused, self assured, connected and strong with the standing, the tilt and above all the hands. but then look at the clothes; the very finely textured robe in contrast to the trunks and the cap, with the unifying black color. All this in front of a curtain which makes this a "show" piece.
A cool, unique piece of work.
