September 04, 2007 9:18pm Nice pose work here, the position of your hands telegraphs a certain tension or anxiousness like your waiting, which can be good if there's a narrative. Simple little things like that can really set the tone of the image and the feeling that it projects, you might have been bored and didn't realize you were sending that message through your hands, but if you learn the vocabulary of body language you can really use that to great effect and take control of the viewer and make them feel how you want.
I like the shot though, it's a great portrait.
