May 21, 2010 1:53am Stunning in it's simplicity! The shallow DOF has really thrown the background out of focus creating a wonderful green haze. The wall the model is leaning against creates a fabulous diagonal line through the middle of the image and the graceful curve of the model's hip and thigh offers a nice counterbalance of geometry. I like the way the sunlight traces a golden outline around the model's head and right shoulder/arm. The lighting is very diffused and quite flat but the model's blue top gives a burst of colour that has the effect of brightening the image considerably. I also like the model's eye contact and relaxed, calm expression. Reasonably tight (but not suffocating) cropping draws the viewer into the image and is the icing on the cake of what is an excellent image in both artistic and technical terms.
