So is it the shadow from the multiple lights or the shadow on the closed window that seams to be the greatest distraction for this photo?

Try this with natural light from the window. Expose for the highlights and let everythin else go dark.

I don't understand this.
Composition is poor. Lighting is poor. Props are poor with that black crap over the window.
What you have here is a naked girl, propping herself up so you can take a picture of her.
Pretty girl though.
