April 23, 2026 1:20pm I really like this, as there is such a strong sense of intention and style throughout. The pose feels natural but still refined; the gentle recline creates a pleasing, flowing line through the body, and the expression complements it well. It doesn’t feel stiff at all, which can be tricky in a setup like this. The wardrobe choice is spot on. The plaid dress adds structure and contrast against the rough, organic texture of the hay, and it gives the whole image a nice editorial feel rather than leaning too heavily into cliché “rustic.” Lighting is handled beautifully, and something I have come to expect of you. It looks like you used soft natural light, possibly with a bit of fill, and it wraps really nicely across the subject’s face and body. Skin tones are clean and well-controlled, and the exposure feels balanced overall.
The setting works great too, enticing, textured, and not distracting. Altogether, it’s a really cohesive, well-executed shot with a strong visual identity. Kudos to you and the model on this excellent collaboration.
