I like yourself do not find erections pornographic, but many Model Mayhemer's do. After you have been closed down a time or two from this site, you may think differently about the shots you choose to display.
I choose to stay on Model Mayhem, even when I can not display shots I would feel best represent my art & my model's, because I feel it is a great way for people to see any of my work, even if it isn't the shots I feel best showoff my work and my Model's features!
Hopefully, when you observe other photographer's & Model's work, you'll keep in mind that they don't always have the freedom to show their best work.
Others may use visual effects and the art of out of focus shots to get their, "Inspired" models on this site. I unfortunately, do not use those techniques. Therefore, I try to comply to rules that have been given to me by this site in order to remain on this site!
Please keep doing what you do and try to realize others may have been so bold at one time, who now use this site as a way for people to view the essence of their work and if that sparks enough interest to have them contact me, they will eventually see, my best works and what I trully feel represents myself & my model's at their best!
May 20, 2007 8:14am It's interesting...from my own work it's obvious I don't object at all to full frontal male nudity in an image, but somehow I think these images with Ken here would work better if his penis and testes remained hidden...this is a fantasy series, supposed to be exotic and mysterious. Allowing his male anatomy to show somehow breaks the fantasy, it makes him seem more "real" so I think this is a case where "less" really is "more." -- however, I have the opposite sense regarding your images of Jet K. In that case part of his "presence" in those images is very much reinforced by the full display of his ample male endowment; Jet's evident semi-arousal in his images just strengthens the projection of his srong masculinity. So sometimes full nudity works, sometimes it doesn't, it all depends on the intended goal of the image.
