About Me
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY LATEST CASTING CALL AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. THANK-YOU!
I also have a new book coming out this fall/winter. You can find out more info here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Alec-and-Alicia-Gould/279960832179037 The "Photo Doc" -Donald Kruse- has been in business since 1999. I also work in restoring and touch up of photos, etc. I use Photoshop Pro along with a few other programs to get the photo at hand to look the way we envision. So, keep me in mind for touch up work, too. When we (the model and I) get to our appointment, it may be work, but it's also a fun time. I like to keep everybody relaxed and smiling...even when the weather may not be ideal. Believe me, when the photos are completed in my home based office personally by myself, the true model will appear. Not the bad weather or that dog that decided he needed to relieve himself on the tree behind you. *grin* I do not do any in studio work nor any wedding photography. I enjoy using the natural light that Mother Nature gives us, with just a splash of man-made light. All work is done outside or possibly in an abandoned building or a barn. Again, these are natural settings in my world. Maybe down the road I'll set up a studio, but for the time being, this works out great for myself and my clients. They like the idea that most shoots are at a unique setting and that very few, if any, models will have these backgrounds in their portfolios. I don't mind traveling, it gets me to see other places in this great nation of ours, but within reason and costs. Keep in mind, the above is for TF* photo shoots. I need different models for different photos in my portfolio just as you do, so, let's keep it fun and relaxed. I do have a female assistant that helps out with the photo shoots. NOTICE: I ask everyone involved with my photoshoots to show decency for one another. We are all here to help each other persue our interest, so, if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late...please call. I will show you the same kind of respect. If you don't call, we may not have enough time to take the photos required. This could result in a shortage for ourselves and the prosepective client, be it ourselves or a magazine, calendar, catalog, web site, etc. This makes us all look bad and can ruin our reputations. When this happens, we can not possibly give each other what we were after. This includes proper photos or tfcd's. I will show you the same respect in return. "If one is to be immortalized upon the pages and webs of time, may it be done with kindness and love". ~Kruser Verified Credits (0)Worked with Donald Kruse? Share your experience and become verified! Below are the names of models and other venues I have worked with in the past.
Since they are listed below, they were/are great people and businesses I have dealt with and will work with in the future. If they are not listed, it is only because I do not want to lead other photographers, muas, etc. into the problems I had with them. Those names that are omitted are those people whom were immature, inconsiderate, or downright terrible to work with; either for not showing up, not being on time, or inconsiderate of others in a different way. So, without further words, I highly recommend the following: Immortal Desire MM#806660 Model Sara Dalle MM#713695 Model Other venues: Daily Citizen newspaper. Whippet Annual Magazine. Professional saxophonist Aaron Santee saxophone clinic. United States Marine Corp. Veterans John Deere Manufacturing Various bands Biker events
