I am a 64 year old widowed guy* who comes to photography out of a fine arts background. I started using photographs for references for paintings and it seems to have grown from there. So I am firmly into the Artistic genre!

I am not a professional, nor am I trying to make it a profession, I have a career and am happy in it. This is me indulging in artistic passion!

As to style, I love history and great art, especially the the 17th century Dutch Masters, as well as Botticelli, Velasquez, and Titian. I try to use those works as inspiration for themes. I also work in the living history field and love to incorporate themes and objects from the 16th and 17th centuries, and middle ages into shoots.  If a model has an interest in these subjects, that's a huge bonus in my book!

I hire nude models! I will do my best to pay a fair price for your work. My favorite themes are nude-in-nature, figure studies, and anything that has an element of story-telling.  I am especially delighted when a model has thoughts and ideas to add.

I am also happy to shoot TFCD for new models, I enjoy doing introduction shoots. We shoot some whole figure shots in your choice of wardrobe, and shoot some portrait/headshots. We try to find a nice location that is convenient to both of us. You get some images for your portfolio and I get to do something I love. And we both get a chance to network! (I also don't hesitate to write nice things on your profile if I enjoy working with you!)

My goal is to try to work with great models and to build up a nice collection of work, just to see how good I can get. I especially enjoy working with artistically minded people and am happy to help out in creative projects.

I am also always trying to find artist's models as well, I sponsor the occasional life drawing group, and hire models for my own projects as well.

Astrid Kallson ( #3259504 ) a total professional, reliable as they get, a pleasure to work with! Solid posing skills and a talent for acting that comes through in pics. For amazing results, add water! Love working with her!

Miriam Joy Chick # 2383604  Terrific model, wonderful physique, and her range of expressions is awesome. An utter joy to work with! Worked with her in one style (my slow, life drawing influenced pace ) and was present as she worked with my friend, in a completely different style of shooting, (faster flow type) she did great with both. I will make a concerted effort to work with her again.

Marzipanned, Worked with her while she was traveling: I enjoyed working with her! Very artistically inclined, was great to have a model who so quickly grasped to direction I was going and the look I wanted. I am hoping to work with her in the future.

Meta Young ,A most astounding artist and dancer, who has the richest sense of fabric and costuming! Is very professional and serious about the important stuff (getting the image) and fun to work with too!  Highly recommend!
