ABOUT I am a professional traveling model with over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of genres. I love the creative process, the controlled chaos of every shoot and the beautiful moments that are captured as the result of the interactions between artists and their environment. I believe art has the power to touch deeply and to heal, both for its creators and for its audience. I approach each shoot as an opportunity to discover something about myself, another person, or the world, and to express these as emotions through the art of posing. I love working with photographers of all skill and experience levels! I enjoy being an active part of the planning process, but am also happy to take direction if you have a specific concept in mind. (And don't let my morose moniker fool you - I'm often caught smiling in the wild, as photos will attest.  )CURRENT LOOK I currently have bangs and a shaggy cut that reaches my upper back, with ear cutouts. My profile picture is fairly representative of the current style. I have a full bush which I am not willing to shave. I currently shave my leg and underarm hair while on tour, but am sometimes able to accommodate requests to be unshaven. I have a tattoo on my left bicep and a few other very small tattoos that I can easily pose around or can cover with makeup if desired (just let me know if that's something you'd like beforehand so I can be prepared as it takes a little extra time). BOOKING I'm only available for paid work at this time, with the exception of very limited trade (for hosting, travel expenses, really amazing wardrobe, camera equipment or something of similar value to me). This is my full time job and I treat it as such. If you're interested in booking a shoot, please send me a message! I have a 2 hour minimum for bookings. Cancellation within 7 days: 25% of agreed rate Cancellation within 4 days: 50% of agreed rate Cancellation within 48 hours: 100% of agreed rate Thanks for understanding. This is my full time job and my rates cover travel expenses, food, wardrobe, and pay my bills so I can continue doing what I love to do. I'm excited to create with you! OTHER NOTES: I have a chronic health condition (POTS). I have my symptoms well managed and 99% of the time this does not impact my ability to shoot, but I may need occasional breaks to take my medicine, drink water, eat a snack, or warm up/cool down if we are shooting in very cold or hot conditions as I am quite temperature sensitive. I travel with my partner/assistant who helps me manage this condition, as well as assisting with a variety of other things (wardrobe, hair/makeup, carrying gear, etc.). He is also available to help you with anything you might need--carrying gear, adjusting lights/backdrops/etc., keeping watch if we are shooting outdoors, whatever the shoot requires. He is professional and his presence has never interfered with a shoot; many photographers have found his presence to be extremely helpful and I am happy to provide references if requested. He doesn't always stick around during shoots if I'm feeling ok, but it's important to me that his presence is acceptable to those I work with in case I do need help that day.
