From a childhood on a Tuscan farm to a career spanning the globe, I have always been driven by a passion for discovery—and the camera has been my constant companion.
My work centers on landscape photography that tells stories: alpine meadows at dawn, weathered Mediterranean facades, the quiet geometry of desert architecture, the cities at night. When people enter the frame, they belong to their environment—farmers at work, travelers in motion, faces shaped by place. This is environmental portraiture in the truest sense: context as character.
A Ph.D. in Physics complements my intuitive understanding of natural light—the way it falls through a doorway in Tulum, catches fog in the Swiss Alps, or transforms a Bahraini souk at golden hour. I (almost) never uses flash.
I work with both digital and analog cameras, many of which I have restored myself. Whether shooting medium format film or modern mirrorless, I favor deliberate, unhurried image-making over volume.
Currently based in Zurich. Available for portrait sessions, editorial work, and creative collaborations. Interested in meeting models and other creatives for shootings in various towns.
